Councilman Rubiard Murray was elected to the Regional Council in the South Atlantic Autonomous Region on the Caribeean coast of Nicaragua after running one of the most successfull campaign as a member of the Frente Sandinista party. He Represents District 1 which includes Old Bank, Beholden and Pointeen.
Bluefields, RAAS - January 30, 2012 - Last December the President of the Regional Council Rayfield Hodgson Bobb authorized a christmas bonus for al 45 members of the Regional Council in the South Atlantic Region. The purpose of the bonus was destined to be used in projects and social affairs in each candidates distric and the communities that we represent. The total of the bonus was 20,000.00 Córdabas to which my office added 10,000.00 Córdobas of my own earnings for a total of 30,000.00 Córdobas. I am happy that I was able to assist in my district and also in the communities for a total spending of just under 30,000.00 Córdobas. Please see expense report below. I'd also like to take this time to say thank you to all who continue to support us as we continue to work for our communties. Thanks to the President of the regional council for this assistance and his continued support.

I hereby submit a detailed report of how the C$ 10,000.00 (ten thousand Cordobas) that was assigned to each Council member in the South Atlantic Autonomous Region was used. The C$ 10,000.00 (ten thousand Cordobas) was assigned by the highest authority of the Region Rayfield Hodgson Bobb, President of the Regional Council and Yadira Flores, Coordinator of Government of the Regional council, during the Christmas 2010 and New Year 2011.
I appreciate the monetary contribution which I was able to add to my personal resources allowing some institutions and citizens of the district # 1 to benefit from it. In principle I will not disclose the total contributions made with my personal resources. However, it is important to note that, with my personal resources I was able to offer small gifts to 7 additional people not reported here. Please see report
Autonomy Gospel Concert
The first Autonomy gospel concert 2010 celebration was a major success at the rotonda in Old Bank. All local religious artist participated in the event and because of them the event is one to remember for all time. The concert was great and touched many lives with uplifting music from the heart. And Because of the success of the event I will work hard to partner with other organization that has the best interest of our people to make this an annual event for long as I am serving as your Councilman. The Regional Council In The South Atlantic Autonomous Regions Has Granted 10,000.00 Cordobas To Each Council Member
Bluefields, RAAS, December 14, 2010 - The regional council has granted the total of 10,000.00 Cordobas to each council member from the different neighborhoods to use in the much needed areas for the Christmas season. I am currently planning to implement a program that would benefit everyone in Old Bank especially the kids during the Christmas season. The money given to me will be handle and used by the committee that I have put together to help me plan.

I am appealing to anyone who could assist me with new or old sport equipments to help us keep our kids off the streets. I believe getting our kids involve in healthy sports could help us keep them out of trouble and more involve in community service and school.
I have pledged to pay 40% of the registration fee for Old Bank Gully baseball team in order for them to participate in the 2010-2011 league.
